Questions

Questions and answers

Practical answers about visiting, booking and using the pharmacy.

Contacting the pharmacy

How do I contact the pharmacy?

You can telephone us during opening hours or send a message through the contact form on this website. We reply to messages during opening hours.

Hours and holidays

What are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are being confirmed and will be shown on the contact page as soon as they are. Please telephone us in the meantime.

Are you open on public holidays?

Holiday hours vary. We publish them on the contact page ahead of each holiday, and it is always worth telephoning to check before travelling.

Booking

How do I book an appointment?

Use the Book Online page to choose the service you need. Each service shows how it is booked — some through an external provider, some by telephone, and some by sending us a request.

Is a booking request the same as a confirmed appointment?

No. A request tells us you would like an appointment. A member of the team will contact you to agree a time before anything is confirmed.

Virtual clinic

What is the virtual walk-in clinic?

It is a way to speak with a healthcare provider online about eligible non-emergency concerns. The provider decides whether your concern is suitable for virtual care.

Can the virtual clinic guarantee a prescription or a medical note?

No. Whether a renewal, a note, or a test is appropriate is a clinical judgement made by the provider after assessing you.

Vaccinations

Do you have the vaccine I need?

Vaccine availability, eligibility, prescription requirements and public funding all vary and change. Please contact the pharmacy for current information before making the trip.

Delivery

Do you deliver prescriptions?

We can arrange delivery. The delivery area, days, cut-off times and any fee are being confirmed — please contact us and we will tell you what applies to your address.

Accessibility and parking

Is there parking?

Parking details are being confirmed and will be published on the contact page. Please telephone us if you would like to know before you travel.

Is the pharmacy accessible?

Accessibility details are being confirmed and will be published on the contact page. If you have a specific access need, please telephone us and we will do our best to help.

Consultations

How much does a supplement consultation cost?

The fee and duration are being confirmed. Please contact the pharmacy for current information.

Service availability

Can a pharmacist tell me what is wrong with me?

A pharmacist can assess certain common conditions and explain the options. They cannot diagnose everything, and they will tell you when another healthcare provider is better placed to help.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

It depends on the service. Each service page says whether an appointment is needed. Booking ahead means a pharmacist is free to speak with you privately.

In an emergency

This page cannot give medical advice. In an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

Now accepting new patients

Bringing your prescriptions to Synergy

We are accepting new patients and can transfer your prescriptions from another pharmacy for you — bring your bottles or your prescription number and we will handle the rest.
